How nRisk compares

The unified alternative to single-lens trade-risk tools

nRisk is a unified corporate trade-risk platform, built in Amsterdam, that brings credit, compliance, supplier and fraud risk together on a single business-partner record, configured rather than custom-coded, with typical go-lives in two to three weeks.

The platforms below are strong products, each built around a particular center of gravity: a proprietary dataset, the order-to-cash process, or the credit function. nRisk’s center of gravity is different: the business partner itself, viewed through every risk lens at once, with full freedom in the data you bring. The comparison reflects each vendor’s own public positioning; where a competitor does something well, the table says so.

This comparison reflects nRisk’s good-faith reading of publicly available vendor positioning as of June 2026. Competitor capabilities evolve; if you are a vendor listed here and believe a cell is inaccurate, tell us. We will verify and correct it. Product and company names are trademarks of their respective owners.

Reading the table honestly

Some of these vendors are genuinely strong where they play. Moody’s Maxsight is a serious compliance and third-party-risk platform. D&B’s Data Cloud is among the best commercial datasets in existence, which is exactly why nRisk lets you keep using it. Schumann has earned its position in DACH credit management over decades.

The pattern across the table is anchoring. Each incumbent is anchored to something (a proprietary dataset, a process, a module architecture), and everything else is added around that anchor. nRisk was designed without one: the business-partner record is the anchor, and data, risk vectors and workflows attach to it freely. That is not a feature difference; it is an architectural one, and it is why swapping a data provider or adding a risk vector in nRisk is configuration, not a project.

The scoring row is about lineage, not intelligence. Competitors’ models are capable. The difference is that nRisk’s scoring is based on the MORE methodology developed by modeFinance (a rating agency registered with and supervised by ESMA), so the logic behind every score is transparent, auditable and defensible to your board, your insurers and your regulators. As automated-decisioning rules like the EU AI Act mature, we believe transparent-by-design will stop being a preference and become the standard. We built for that standard from day one.
